Harry Potter right or wrong???

I know so many of you do not accept Harry Potter, but this has been a book I have enjoyed since it's beginning. I have enjoyed each book, and movie. I would like to know why others disagree with this. I have tickets for tomorrow to see the 5th movie. Is it so wrong to let your imagination run, even if you know that it is all just that? Your imagination. I know the difference between right and wrong. I do not believe in witch craft, but the books grab my attention, is this wrong?

I have to say almost anything that grabs a child's attention today is worth looking into. Reading is the key to writing success. Yet it must be monitored by an adult.

I am not sure about this either. I grew up in the church where from the beginning, Harry Potter was called "evil." However, now that I am thinking for myself, I am not so sure about that. It is something that I really have to pray about. I love fun adventures... I really need to do some research and read the books.
It is so funny - the author was a lonely single mom just telling stories to her children, then writing them down later. I don't know....
